Ingredients:

- 1 cup of cocoa powder (unsweetened)

- ½ cup of coconut oil (or any other vegetable oil)

- ¼ cup of honey or maple syrup (adjust according to desired sweetness)

- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)

- Pinch of salt (to enhance flavours)

Optional Mix-ins:

- Chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)

- Dried fruits (raisins, cranberries, cherries)

- Shredded coconut

- Mini marshmallows

- Sprinkles or edible decorations

Instructions:

1. In a microwave-safe bowl or stovetop, gently melt the coconut oil until it becomes a liquid.

2. Add the cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the melted coconut oil. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined, and you have a smooth, shiny chocolate mixture.

3. If desired, stir in your preferred mix-ins, such as chopped nuts, dried fruits, shredded coconut, or mini marshmallows. Be creative and add your personal touch to the chocolates.

4. Prepare a chocolate mould; if you don't have one, use an ice cube tray or a lined baking dish.

5. Pour the chocolate mixture into the moulds, filling them about three-quarters full. Gently tap the moulds on the countertop to remove air bubbles and ensure even distribution.

6. Place the moulds in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or until the chocolate has solidified and become firm.

7. Carefully remove the chocolates from the moulds Once the chocolates have hardened. You can cut the chocolate into desired shapes or break it into bite-sized pieces using a baking dish.

8. Your homemade chocolates are now ready to be enjoyed! Store them in an airtight container in a cool place or refrigerator to keep them fresh.

Tips:

- Experiment with different flavours by adding extracts like peppermint, orange, or almond to the chocolate mixture.

- Sift the cocoa powder before mixing it with the other ingredients for a velvety texture.

- If you prefer sweeter chocolates, adjust the honey or maple syrup according to your taste.
